Quick what’s up!
Everything’s is going well. My postmates and I are working really hard to make the Pehunco girls camp awesome. It’s a lot of work. It’s all my first time working with womens’ groups. It’s fun but a little frustrating.
I’m going back to post tomorrow and I will be there for a little over a month. I’m really going to try and hunker (sp?) down and learn Bariba. My neighbor said he would tutor me.

a kpunan do! Hello Monica, how wonderful to come upon your blog and your stories about Tobre & Pehunco. I was posted in Pehunco from 97-99 and worked with the Centre de Promotion Sociale. Remote and hard to get to as it may have been, it was definitely one of the best posts in country! I wish you and your Pehunco postmates the best! I must say I am so jealous as it sounds like there are quite a few volunteers in the area — I spent most of my service on my own!
Wishing you du courage!
